This is the Malacca River that runs through Malacca City, it was a vital trade route back in the 15th century.

My Mom's Hometown

The setting shown in the picture shows my parents childhood neighborhood. Here, the tasks or daily activities are not seen nor compare to my daily routines. Woman such as my mom would wake up in the morning hours to wash outside and prepare food, the males would get ready to feed the animals and crop. They still have these memories but its strange to imagine my life as that.
