This image of my mom recipe books connected to Sociology of the Family, raising the importance of cultural values that my family brought to The United States when our family imigrant from our country. My family moved to The United States more than 15 years ago from Ukraine, for hope to give their children and themselves better future that everyone deserves. Cultural food for Ukrainian people is very important and that’s why my family carried this tradition to The United States. During Ukrainian traditional holidays my mom uses the best of the recipes from her books to fill the table with many delicious delicates, which were passed by generations all the way from the 1890s.
