Mexican Culture
This picture proudly represents my Mexican culture. I came to this country almost 20 years ago. I am the first, and only one, of my family who has emigrated from my country. It has been very difficult to adapt to living in a country different from mine, but I have tried to preserve my roots and customs with me. I am a mother of four children, and I can say that the hardest part has been raising them without the help of any family member. The support of our family is very important, but I have been trying to do my best to give them the best possible care. I have tried to make my children feel very proud of where they came from, even though they were born here. We keep our culture, our music and traditions with us, and I hope that they continue with those same traditions and pass them to the next generations, so they do not forget where we came from.
