Turkmen carpets are well known all over the world. Turkmenistan is famous for its carpets.
Carpets are very valuable because they are handmade and only high-quality materials are used. My great-grandmother worked on the carpet factory. We had all sorts of hand-made carpets at home. My great-grandmother had a huge house where all my family lived. When I migrated, I did not take anything from my home country. Few years ago I got married and my relatives from Turkmenistan brought us a small Turkmen carpet. I felt very nostalgic, I remembered my great-grandmother home and how all my family was together.
