These two photos were taken on one of my trips to Malaysia with my mom. My parents immigrated to the U.S. from Malaysia in 1991. We rarely have the chance to take a flight to Malaysia, so when we do I take lots of photos. We were visiting Malacca to see a part of my mom's childhood. A printing shop my uncle owns that was once my mom's childhood home. My mom is part of a family of 11, she being the youngest of 9. She takes pride in being born and raised in Malacca and I was fortunate enough to see her hometown.
