The currency from Mexico.
The currency from Mexico.

These coins represent my parent’s origin of where they came from before they came to the United States. My dad came from Puebla, Mexico and came into the United States at the age of 15. There he had met my mom and have four children, my two older brothers, myself, and my younger sister. Since I was born in the states, these help me understand my parent’s origin has he try to get and give my siblings a better life. My dad is the only that works to give us a good education for a better life as my mom is a housewife taking care of us when my dad is working and taking us to school. I was close to my family as I lived near my mom parents as they were our neighbors and always visited my dad family on the weekends. I didn’t always appreciate what my parents had when I was younger but now, I’m more appreciative since I’m older now and they gave me everything they could. The pesos is meaningful because it represents my origins and how my parents work hard as possible for my siblings and I. Their hard work is showing off as their children which is my siblings and I.These pieces of currency from a much poorer country my parents came from makes me try harder just like my older brothers and I hope to change the world for a better in the future as much as I can by giving back to my parents and community for giving us a chance.
