My American Dream the book

Grandmother's Book

My grandmother wrote a book about her life, she would always tell stories about her past and early life, so she decided to write about it. She never imagined that she would sit and write a book though, but she just thought that our history was too important to the future of our family not to write about. The book was written to share the history of the Feigin family and what my Grandma and great-grandparents had to endure. This book tells 250 pages of her and our family's history about coming to the US, and how they had to overcome some of the hardest challenges you could think of. The book taught my family a lot, most of which we might have known but not in full context. My grandmother made sure that the story of her and her parents was never lost. My grandmother and her parents had to figure out how to live a completely different life in a whole new place, this story reminds me just how amazing my family is to be able to survive the challenges they faced. My Grandmother's goal in writing this book was to educate the family about all the tough and impossible moments that have led to us being a big, happy, and beautiful family.
