The antique doll was originally from Poland. The doll experienced a lot over the years including my family. The doll has gone from a small town in Poland called Nowy Dwor to a huge city called Dabrowska. They are totally different. From small farms where everyone know everyone to a huge city with big building. And if that was not enough it went to New York, U.S.A. This doll was passed down from my great-great-grandmother in Nowy Dwor to my great-grandmother in Nowy Dwor then to Dabrowska then to my mother and finally to me in New York. My mother came to New york when she was 20 years old by herself in 2001. The doll is over 100 years old! My family may be 4,270 miles away but the doll always reminds me of where it all started.
