This is one of my father's albums from his rap career. From 1992-1995 my father lived in L.A. and from 2001-2003 he lived in San Francisco before permanently settling in Connecticut. In California my father was a painter and got by selling his art and doing commission work. At night he was a DJ at a place called The Fly Bar. While Djing, my father met Peanut Butter Wolf, the founder of Stones Throw Records. Peanut Butter Wolf helped put out my father's records.
