This photo of my grand aunt Joyce Johnson was taken when she was a pin-up model in the 50s. Her photo was in this book with a bunch of other famous pin-up models. Almost everyone in my family has a copy. My great aunt's grandparents moved to Minnesota from Norway and Sweden. Joyce had a brother Bud and a sister Doris, who is my grandmother's mother. Joyce moved to Los Angeles after high school to start her modeling career. She lived in West Hollywood for half a century and is still alive and well at 93.
