This picture is a picture of a meeting with JFK and my great grandfather Hans Christan Sonne directly to the right of JFK. Hans was a part of the board of economics hence the meeting. This picture just reminds me of how important we are and how closely everybody ties to the events of your time. My grandfather Christian Sonne was also a part of a board which was the Board of Davis’ mutual fund which met every single year in september. Every time they had one place they met every year, The World Trade Center. Until in 2001 they for whatever reason decided to change the meeting to chicago. This decision indirectly saved my grandfather’s life.  9/11 might be the most influential event in the 2000s and it almost affected my grandpa. This story tells me that we live in a small world and that we are truly a part of world history.
