These bracelets mean a lot to me because they were given to me by important people in my life. Also these bracelets remind me of how much my family worked and how they worked their way to get where they’re at right now. My mom, dad, aunts, and uncles were raised to work. Most of them didn’t even make it to high school. They had to make money in order to bring food to the house. My father came to the U.S. in 1997 to make more money. My mom sold bracelets like these and didn’t even get passed elementary school and when she came to the United States in 2001, she got a job and sold these bracelets to make money to bring my brothers and sisters here.
