My great, great, grandmother Florence lived on the coast of Oregon when she was a little girl. She would walk along the beach and collect Japanese fishing floats. We were surprised to learn that theses floats were originally crafted in Norway, and many of my ancestors came from Norway. I have never been to Norway, but I have always wanted to go.
