Irish Horseshoe
As shown here, I decided to share about an Irish Horseshoe. My grandfather (Dad's side) went to Ireland many years ago to establish the origin behind our family’s last name. As he was exploring Wexford, Ireland, he came across an old horseshoe. In Ireland, when one comes across a horseshoe they are granted good luck for the rest of their life. My grandfather did track down actual history of my family's last name, but didn’t find the actual meaning of its origin. The horseshoe is mostly composed of Iron, but it's hard to tell because of the intense rusting, as the Horseshoe is estimated to be around 100+ years old. It's special to me because it has been in my family for a long time, and has quite a story behind it.
