This bear, named Luke, is a gift that my mom gave me on my 5th birthday. She passed this down to me because my grandpa gave it to her when she was 5 years old and wanted to keep this a tradition. He got this from a store in Manhattan. I will pass this down to my future kids giving them a piece of each generation. This is very special to me because it gives me a piece of both my grandpa and mom. This also reminds me very much of childhood memories. It represents something that was made in the 1980s that compares to the things made today. Altogether, this is a very special thing that I will always treasure.
