Gift From Sister-in-law
Everyone has an object when they come from their country or they move to another country. An object can be small or big. It doesn’t matter. What matters is who gives you the object and how valuable the object is in your life. I also have an object when I came here. I come from Bangladesh. I moved here in March 2016. When I came here, my family threw me a farewell party and at that time my sister-in-law gave me this Earring and I brought it with me. In my country, we called “Kaner Dul”.”kan” means Ear and “Dul” means Ring. The earrings are gorgeous. My sister-in-law is my best friend, my best cousin and my best sister-in-law. She always encouraged me, and she says that when you find any chance to learn something new always use the chance. Now that’s why I want to learn everything, like how to play Instruments, how to be a dancer, how to cook, how to speak different languages etc. When we are together, we talk so much and do a lot of fun things. I still have that earring, and sometimes I wear it and sometimes I don't. But when I miss her, I always look at it, and I remember all the moments that I had with my sister-in-law. This earring is really important to me because when i’m feeling down, sad or depressed It gives me strength, and then I remembered all the things that she said to me like “Don’t give up, I know you can do it. Don’t worry, I will always be there for you”. I’m just waiting for when she comes here, and we will be together again.
