My mom received a necklace that has a rose in a hand in Tochimilco, Puebla, Mexico when she was a 14 year old. The necklace was given to her by her best friend for her birthday. She said that it represented their friendship. My mom brought it from Mexico because it made her feel like wherever they were their friendship would be inseparable. When my mom arrived at Paterson City, NJ my mom felt the company of her best friend with her. Up until now, my mom still has the necklace that her best friend gave her 28 years ago. I hope to meet my moms best friend.
