Freedom

I am Ana, and I am from Venezuela, the most beautiful and helpful country in the world. I left my country with the greatest pain that I have not been able to overcome. Due to the dictatorship that governs Venezuela, my family and I had to choose between living in freedom or dying. We decided that our children should have a beautiful future full of opportunities, so that's why we came to the USA.
I like this country a lot because my children have been able to develop. They learn to live without fear and they know what it is like to live in freedom. Now they can say what they think and choose what they want for their future. But I continue every day fighting from here to get freedom for my country. I hope to return one day to rebuild it. My American Dream is to live Free. This picture was taken on a trip to Washington, D.C., where we went to protest but also to thank America for the help that our people  are getting so they can achieve much-longed-for freedom.
