Virgen De La Nube represents a religion belief that my family believes in, before my mom migrating to the United States her favorite place to visit was "La Buga", which is the place where the statue is standing, at the top of the mountain. La buga represents past memories where my uncles and aunts would go to visit and admire the virgen. Every 1st of January we unite as an Ecuadorian culture to celebrate the day of the Virgen de la Nube. Even though we're not in Ecuador we still gather together to celebrate her day its a tradition that my family has for every 1st of January.
