My dog, Uno, is important to me because when I was younger, we went to adopt a dog, and my mom said I got to pick whichever one I wanted. I saw a little golden retriever who ran right up to me with a smile on his face and the softest fur, so we took him home with us. I decided to name him Uno because he was the firstborn. It took him a few days to get used to me. Now every day I come home, he runs right up to me and gets the same smile on his face, and it is the best part of my day. Over the years, he has grown significantly and now weighs about 100 pounds. We have made many memories, and he has gotten a lot bigger. He sleeps with me almost every night, and I can't ever move my legs because he is so big. I could not imagine life without him, he is more than a dog, he is my bestfriend.
