This is the Thompson Chain Family Bible. This bible has been passed down through many generations of Thompsons. My Great-Great Grandma, who is currently 100, gave this bible to my mother for Christmas because she said: “I don’t want nobody to have it other than you.” This bible has noted in the margins dating back to 1900. The people that owned this bible documented every sermon they went to and which bible verse the sermon was about, also the date. I love looking at this bible because it shows the history of the Thompson Family and the history of their faith.
