This is me at the beach!

Ever since I can remember it has been a tradition to take a family road trip from Georgia to Florida. For 3 weeks in July my family hops on an airplane and flies from New York to Atlanta, Georgia. From my grandparents home in Luthersville, GA we rent a car and it is off to Gainesville, FL. That is where my aunt and uncle live. Then we are off to Aunt Linda's house at Navarre Beach! I feel like this tradition is really important to me because I get to see my extended family. With the pandemic and everything going on for the past 18 months it has been very hard to keep in touch with my family. Another part of this trip is going to our family reunion were we see all of our extended family. The Miller/Wise Family Reunion is really important bonding time for the bunch. Another important part of this tradition is to see my grandparents on my dad's side. They are such a huge part of my life and they love to see how much me and my sister have grown each year! As a whole it is very important because these trips aren't just a vacation it's a time of building connections and memories. On a different note there is also the tradition that we recreated every year , such as going to the Turtle Conservancy. Every year we try to give back to the community who are doing good for the environment by purchasing from the gift shop.
