Guitar my dad got me

When I was around twelve-years old, my dad started teaching me guitar. My family has always loved to play music. First it was my great grandpa who would play the banjo and guitar; it then got passed down to my grandpa who always loved to play the banjo, guitar, and harmonica. After him, he taught my dad how to play, and then he taught me and my brother how to play. In the first months of playing guitar, I just thought it was cool to play, but, now that I have gotten older and more mature, I use it as a way to show my emotions. I love the way you can show emotion in any song you want to sing or play. I loved the way the guitar would sound and the way it felt. It really helped me get through some hard times in my life. When my dad got me my first guitar, I fell in love with it and spent lots of days after school practicing and learning new things, and it has been the best hobby I have ever had.
