The magnet
This magnet is a big reminder of my previous wonderful life in Russia as a flight attendant full of joy and miracles. Two of them were in my apartment in Moscow. They hold the best place in our fridge. They are very cute and tiny so I couldn’t leave them there in cold Russia. I was a flight attendant for twelve years, it’s one third of my life, a big part of it. The Aeroflot company provided young passengers with a bag of some sort of entertainment such as a little book, pencils, a small table game, socks and a magnet-anything that could help people to make a flight quicker and more interesting. I got the magnet from that bag. The lady in the red uniform shows my personality-always strong, fit, fast in decisions, always ready to go anywhere for new adventures. The magnet reminds me how I was happy and successful doing my job. Also it was my dream to travel a lot. I’m grateful for the opportunity to meet new people, to discover new places, to try exotic food, to show my parents abroad. I’m a real stranger. I love to change my location. I really taste life when I move. And now I’m here in the U.S. What’s next?
