The object I chose to use is my grandfather's Army ID from when he was in it. The artifact was given to my father by his father years ago. He immigrated to America from Poland in the early 1900s. The ID is very old and brownish in color, it is thin and paper-like material. The card came from New York City. My Dad told me about it when I told him about this project. This artifact is important to me and my family because it shows hard work, hard work is important in my family, as my grandfather was in the army, and I and my brother have played several sports. I was amazed when I found out that we had this ID because my grandfather died a few years ago and to have an object from his life is really cool. As I said before, the card was given to my father by his father who showed it to me. This object goes in the work category.
