The Holy Bible
My mother was born in Ghana, West Africa and immigrated to the United states when she was a child. My mother was living in Ghana while her mother was in the United States providing for her. In Ghana my mother was living with her aunt and her two cousins and Sundays were very important to her, because on Sundays she went to church. Church was important to my mother because it was where she was happy and she always enjoyed anytime that she could praise God through praise and worship. Ghana isn’t like the New York City where you can travel by foot but whenever my mother’s aunt wasn’t traveling to church she would wake up early on sunday’s and walk for miles until she reached her church. My mother’s favorite part of Church was when she would learn about the Holy Bible, when her church had bible study she would take notes in her bible and when she got older, she would later lead bible class and share those notes with other kids, she took this job seriously. Once my mother came to the United States and had Children, she also taught us about the Bible and its teachings. The Holy Bible is very important to me as important as the law is to America. The Holy Bible tells Christians how they are to live their lives right and this my mother always taught me and my family you can apply the Bible to your daily lives and that you should conduct your life in a way that corresponds with the teachings in the Bible the Bible represents me because I try to live a life that pleases God and the things he stated in the Bible. The Bible is very important to my mother because she lives by it.
