My mother gave up life in Palestine and moved to the United States for a better life with my father. With them they only brought our Holy Book,"The Quran". They brought that with them so they can seek advice and pray.My parents wanted to have a better life full of opportunities for themselves and their kids. My mother who has a lot of family in the U.S raised my siblings and I close to relatives so we can feel welcome and so her and my father lived comfortably. This story is important to share because my parents have left their lives in Palestine for a better life in the U.S."The Quran" is the foundation of the story because it is the only book my parents read, it is our religion.This object represents me because it reminds me of where I come from.
