The object that I chose was my mom’s sweater that she wore as part of her uniform when she was in school back in Mexico. (I’m pretty sure it was in Middle school) My mom was the only one who used this object but now I use it since she gave it to me. It came from Mexico, my mom brought it with her when she came to the United States about 20 years ago. I learned about this object about one or two years ago when my mom gave it to me. I chose this object because my mom gave it to me so its special and because when she came to the United States she brought it with her so it represents my family's immigration/Migration story. It makes me feel happy and comfortable whenever I wear it. Another reason why I chose this object was because this was the only object that I could find that represented my families Immigration/Migration story. My mom came to the United States to find better job opportunities and to give her children better education opportunities.
