My brother has always been dedicated to his work as policeman in Brazil. However, it was a dangerous job due to the high crime rate in the country. Besides the constant danger he lived in, he was not making ends meet with a very low wage. My brother did not know where to turn until a friend of his who was living here in the U.S. suggested to him that he try to get a visa and come here to get a job in the same area his friend was working in, which was to become a chauffeur. Today my brother is an American citizen and has done well in this country. His children are all in private colleges, he owns his house and has just completed his associates degree and has joined John Jay college to become a lawyer. So proud of my brother for all his accomplishment in this country. Thanks to him, I am also here.
