I chose a soccer ball as my topic because it represents who I am and my childhood.  Since I was young my dad influenced me to play soccer and always had me kicking a ball.  Soccer is a big part of my life because it was the first thing I ever found interest in and it was my first ever hobby and the thing I've been doing my whole life.  Growing up I was always traveling for soccer almost every weekend and waking up early to either go to a game or watch a game.  The amount of time, dedication, money,  i have spent in the sport has definitely had an impact on who i am as a person because at a point in my life this was the only thing that i ever cared about, at school i would be looking forward to practice later and during the week i was always looking forward to the game on the weekend, at school i would always wear my soccer shoes and jersey and every chance i got i would be playing soccer, and all my friends that i had i made through soccer. A story i have about soccer is one time my team was staying at a hotel for a tournament and we were playing fifa in one of the hotel rooms and one of my teammates lost and got mad a threw the controller and broke the wall.
