The item I choose is soccer because it is the best.  In Africa, it is important to respect each other, especially the adults. These values are taught to us and we are expected to follow them, even when playing a game, like soccer. Soccer makes me happy. Soccer is a sport that is good for people because it makes you fast, strong and in good shape. When I was in Africa I was a good soccer playing on shape, fast and strong but when I came to America I started to slack of and I am not as fast like I use to be back in the day. The object is a soccer ball from Ghana came with me to America and it was one of very few possessions that I brought with me. I had to bring it with me because its reminds me of who am I especially now that I am in this country that is so different from what I know.
