My mother immigrated to the US when she was only 16 years old . My mother is the person I admire the most because growing up she had to be a father and mother for me. One of the many reasons I admire my wonderful mother is because she taught me so many things about her culture and work ethic. For example, she has taught me how to cook so many different types of food from two different cultures. She has also shown me how to become a strong brave independent woman at a young age.
