• In ancient times, skiing was about getting from A to B on snow efficiently. The Sami people of Northern Scandinavia knew that skis were a superior form of snow transportation because their ancestors invented them and the Sami used them on a daily basis. Me personally I see this as family fun.. My skis were first given to me when I was 8, me and my family went to Vermont, as our first family trip, this started what was then, furthermore led to something casual me and my family did every Christmas break.We love these trips so much because they are fun, and it brings my family together because i'm the youngest and my siblings are a lot older than me, and one of my siblings lives in California, so we barely see each other, therefore the skiing trips brings our family together because we all love skiing. When it comes to actually booking the place to stay my dad gets majority, and he always needs at least a pool, or a hot tube. In addition, we try to get at least 5 different rooms for all of us, however this never ends up being the case, and I end up sleeping on the floor, because i'm the youngest. For dinner, we try to mix it up every night, and that way we never get bored of the same food, because we stay for about a week or so. Finally, after eating we watch movies, or play some games like on my xbox. In conclusion whenever I think of skiing it I think of lots of family fun, and bonding.
