My mom Pamela Enquist grew in San Jose, California in the 70s & 80s with her three brothers and her mother. She was born on April 5th, 1968 in San Francisco. Growing up she lived in a poor neighborhood, which helps influence her life outlook having compassion for the less fortunate, and less so for those who wallow in self-pity. Moving into her young adult life she moved out of her house, found work, and started purchasing items that she needed. When she met her spouse Anne she had many adventures, living in different states, and places eventually coming to live in Napa in the house where Anne grew up. The photo shows Pam sitting with her dogs Luke, and Alex at Stinson beach in 1994 after a day of ATV riding. Pam spent time jet skiing, ATV riding, and camping. Camping and motorsports with ATVs and jet skis are an important part of our family. My parents did it, and now still have the vehicles my brother and I can ride them too. In a family that doesn’t have in traditional traditions spending time enjoying the outside, and riding is important to the family identity.
