My dad came over to America in 1987 and he was somebody who came over from Ireland and was 23 years old when he came to America.  He came to America to get his masters degree at Boston College and had never meant to stay once he got his degree.  However, once he got a job in America as a banker he had decided to stay.  He has had a successful career in the banking industry.  His dad was a famous man over in Ireland as he had won the Nobel Peace Prize for resolving conflicts between Ireland and England.
