I am Italian, I live in Rome. My grandfather Giuseppe and his sister with her little daughter arrived in NY in January 1906. He settled in 7th Street and worked in the State of NY for 20 years, after which he came back to Italy and married my grandmother. He brought back a number of items such as this school Geography textbook with magnificent pictures (see the one I posted of NY skyline). But my grandfather's sister and her family decided to settle permanently in the US. We have lost contact with them and I would be so happy if I could get in touch with her grandchildren. I hope I'll manage to do it someday ♡
