My object is a ring that important and represents me. It was made in Dominican Republic (DR) where it was given to me. The story behind this ring is that my family would go to DR every summer and my mom decided to celebrate my birthday there that year. She invited friends and family to come celebrate. One of my mom’s friends, Orgeta, was there at that time in the summer. She gave me a gift which was a ring. It was gold and had two rubies on both sides. The reason there were rubies on it was for my birth month which represents July. The ring is important to my family because Orgeta was a close family friend we knew for a long time. To this day, I still have the ring with me. This is why this ring tells an important story.
