Quilt
Ms. Cecelia Tapplette Pedescleaux learned the family tradition of sewing, particularly the art of hemming from her mother. Seams and stitches were very important, and her mother crafted everything from clothing to costumes to quilts. A professional seamstress, she also saved fabric of all sorts, collections she would recraft into spectacular new designs. Ms. Cecelia Tapplette Pedescleaux carries these traditions forward in the crafting of her own quilts which are exhibited around the world.
