Prayer Mat
Prayer MatMy item is a Prayer Mat i got this from my dad. It came from Bangladesh, and it is made of fur and cotton. The Prayer Mat is also called Arabic Sajjada. It is important because I need it to pray five times a day. Prayer is an important part to our culture. The history of the mat is when someone prays they can't pray on the dirty floor or dirty places so they put the mat on the floor so they can pray on and they put a design on it and the meaning of it is very nice. I chose this because it reminds me of Bangladesh and of my religion. My questions are when was it made? How was it made? And who made it? It teaches people that muslims are very religious and stick up and stick to their religion.
