Las Aguilas del cibao in English would be "Cibao Eagles".One of the most famous teams in the Dominican Republic's winter baseball league.They have won 5 Caribbean series  and 21 national titles.Most of the baseball fans would describe  us as "la leña esta aki" meaning the wood is here .They are also know as "Las cuyayas "and" los mameyes" they are also called like this because of their  mascot and their classic yellow color they use .In 2008, they hosted their Caribbean series at their stadium Estadio cibao which is also known as "valle de la muerte" this means "vally of death" . This is their nickname because fans believe they perform so good in their home .
