My family heirloom is a pocket watch. It was given to me when I was really young by my father. I was 8, and my father gave it to me on Christmas, back when we lived in Vancouver, Washington. I spent a bit of my life in Vancouver, moving from one place to another. I have kept it with me throughout my life, moving from house to house. And right now it's on my bookshelf in my bedroom. I plan to keep it with me until I have a kid and then pass it on to them like my father gave it to me.
