I and my family immigrated from Uzbekistan to America on March 30, 2013. In my country we played a type of lottery called Green Card and we won. Therefore, my parents decided to move to America for experience, financial problems, good education and to have a better life. Before we moved, as a child the only thing I knew was that I will miss my relatives and friends and sit on a airplane for the first time. I was very excited and sad at the same time but it was still a good feeling. However, I didn't even think about the challenges I and my family would face as I was only ten. Before coming to America, we prepared and said goodbye to our relatives and friends. That moment was very said, I remember my grandparents and others were crying too. We sat on a car and went to airport, which at that time we were so excited because it was our first time sitting on a airplane. It was a long and exciting flight. Finally, we landed. The feeling I had at the time when we landed and after is indescribable. I, my family, American airport, Americans, all of that was just so adventurous and so different that happened in my life. I was walking in the airport with my mouth open because I was amazed. I saw things that I have never seen. I saw so many different people from different countries.
