There is one really amazing object that my family has. My family photo that is from when my grandpa was a kid in Thailand. He is the oldest child and they were very poor. They immigrated to Thailand from China during World War II, and my great grandfather sold noodles from a cart. This was the only picture that my grandpas family could afford. It is cool because I get to see my grandpa and his six brothers when they were close to my age. This picture is important to my family because it is the only picture that captures my great grandparents together with their sons, and it is part of our culture because they passed it down to my generation and I hope to pass it down to the next generation. It begins to tells the story of our family’s immigration to two places - China to Thailand and Thailand to the United States.
