The object that I chose to write about is a photo of my parents from their wedding. In the photo my mom and dad are both dressed in traditional ghanaian clothing; that culture comes from my dads side of the family. The history of the photo is that it was taken as they were saying their vows in 1995 on the actual wedding day. The photo is important because it represents my parents love for each other and our family. They’ve had that exact frame and picture in their bedroom for double the amount of years I’ve been alive and they cherish it very much.
