Oxtail with rice and peas is one of many famous dishes. My great grandmother been cooking this dish before me or my mother was even born. We eat this dish mainly on thanksgiving. We try our best not to make it that often so that when thanksgiving comes around we are not eating the same thing that was was eating a week ago or a couple days ago. My grandmother told me that when she was younger her mother was the one who showed her how to make this dish.
