Our Lady of Guadalupe
This statue of Our Lady of Guadalupe represents my parent's faith and prayers that guided them here to the United States. My parents came to the United States to geta job and help support their families in Mexico. They eventually met each other and decided to go back to Mexico and get married. When they returned to get married my mom bought a Statue of the Virgen. When it the time came for them to return to the U.S my mom brought the statue with her. She’s then had it on a little pedestal and takes it to church to get blessed on her feast days. Ever since my siblings and I have grown up with that statue. Its representative of my family's faith and how it has aided them through hardships and has been a symbol of hope for us.
