This parasol was purchased by my great grandmother who had heritage in Italy. It was bought on a trip to Venice, Italy in 1962. Although it was my great-great grandparents who immigrated to America from Italy in 1912, their daughter decided to visit the motherland as an adult. While not that ancient,  it still has a lot of sentimental value within our family because of its beauty and high quality. The parasol has been passed down from my great grandmother to my great aunt to my mother. It resides in my house and my mom uses it sometimes. I think this parasol is nice to look at and has a pretty pattern. It is high quality and will definitely be in use by my family for generations to come.
