These are cleats that my grandpa gifted me for being in my High School soccer team. I remember how happy I was when he gave them to me. They are very valuable to me because he gave them to me before our lives changed in a big way. After a bad accident my grandpa can no longer walk. Even though he can talk and move, things are very different for him and for our family now. My grandpa was an immigrant who moved here to build a better life for his family. He worked very hard for a long time and now he has his papers and is a legal resident. I may not be able to play in them again but I would love to keep them. When I look at them I think of my grandpa and his love for me. They remind me of how life was before everything changed. They also show my hard work on the field and how much my grandpa means to me.
