This guitar was brought from Louisiana by my great uncle when he and my great grandmother moved to California. It was one of the few things he brought with him that we still have today. He was a musician who played for anyone who would listen. This guitar meant a lot to him which is why he passed it down to my grandfather. My grandfather gave it to my dad when he was young as well. My dad wasn't the one who gave it to me though. When my great uncle moved back to Louisiana,my dad wanted him to be the one to give it to me. He recently passed away, but looking at his guitar always brings back that memory.
