My Home at Jajó
The picture is from the hallway of my parents´house. The corridors of a colonial house built in the early 1700s. The place where I grew up with my sisters and my brother. I remember the sound of wood when I ran through those wooden floors. This view reminds me of the child that I was when I was playing with my cars on wood. I remember doing the homework next to my sisters and my mom teaching me the multiplication table. This image is a connection with my deep fell of my childhood.
I took this picture in August 14, 2016. I think it was one of the last pictures I took at my parent´s house it was the penultimate visit I made before I left of Venezuela.
I see the photo and I still remember the smell and texture of the newly polished wood floors.
